We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality counseling services, support clients in achieving their mental health goals, and mentor junior staff.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Offer crisis intervention and management when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior counselors and interns.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in mental health practices and contribute to continuous improvement of services.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- State licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical counseling experience.
- Strong therapeutic and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
- Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff is preferred.
