Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality counseling services, support clients in achieving their mental health goals, and mentor junior staff.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
  • Offer crisis intervention and management when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior counselors and interns.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in mental health practices and contribute to continuous improvement of services.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • State licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical counseling experience.
  • Strong therapeutic and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff is preferred.
